Hello, My WNA 1100 N150 adaptor has an issue where it will occasionally cut out and cause my PC to blue-screen. It points to one of the drivers, arthurx.sys, as the cause. Looking around, the suggestion is to upgrade the driver, but there's a problem, the NETGEAR driver installer requires me to unplug my adaptor which then causes the blue screen. Launching the installer with it already unplugged, the old driver will be re-installed once I plug it back in, so the installer does nothing. Can I get the latest arthurx.sys driver file as a seperate download so I can upgrade it manually? Current version : 2.0.0.5 Version of installer : 2.2.0.1 Thanks in advance.4.3KViews0likes5Commentsproblem with wireless adapter WG111v3
Yesterday, after an unlucky fall, my MacBook Pro's wifi integrated hardware broke. By the way I realized that I've a wifi adapter somewhere, found it, I've tried to connet it to my MacBook, I've download the driver from here - http://www.netgear.it/support/product/WG111v3.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic#CompatibilityandAddingDevices_CommonTopics - the description sais "OSx 10.5", I've 10.10 and after had installed the driver, it doesen't work. Does the adapter's really compatible with Mac ? Do I have to find another driver ? Thank youSolved3.6KViews0likes2CommentsA6210 Software Version 1.0.0.36 Disconnections
Hi Again So I've updated Windows and decided to try .36 after the disaster that was .35 Good news the driver solved all the issues that I had with .35 Bad news is that I keep having issues with limited connectivity/ disconnections to the internet. - Its not linked to heavy downloads even everday browsing has caused me issues - I updated all my drivers etc and checked again with slimdriver that a member recommended - Still having issues with the connection So I have uninstalled Genie again along with the .36 driver and am using the driver that comes with Win 10. The driver that comes with Windows is not perfect (It struggles to connect on start up) however the connection appears more robust than that of the netgear one. mrsqueezy6.8KViews0likes9CommentsHow do I install drivers on macOS (Sierra) for AC340U?
New driver came out today! And for the macOS Sierra (we don't call it Mac OSX anymore). http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26983/(Opens%20in%20new%20window)~/aircard-340u-(at%26t-beam)-downloads-and-documentation?cid=wmt_netgear_organic Since I've upgrade (and later fresh-installed) macOS on my Macbook Pro, the AT&T NetBeam/NetGear AirCard 340U has been rendered disabled. Recognized by the macOS, yes, at USB-level. But the drivers refuse to interact with it. With this NEW driver, I downloaded it. I'm puzzled. It is a zip file. With a 'Contents' folder. And a 'Resources' folder inside that. What is the installation procedure for incorporating this latest and greatest driver into macOS?SolvedAdding a BackUPS Pro using serial COM port
Hi, I have just purchased a Startech ICUSB2321F which uses the FTDI FT232R chip with the intention of using it to connect an old APC BackUPS Pro with a serial port to a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo2 with a USB port. (The Netgear ReadyNAS Dashboard supports monitoring and display of UPS.) On connecting the UPS to the NAS via the Startech cable the NAS recognises the USB device, as shown by the following output of "lsusb": Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC The NAS is running the Debian 6 Squeeze distribution with the following Linux version, as shown by the output of "uname -a" Linux lamanai 2.6.31.8.duov2 #1 Thu Apr 18 18:24:47 HKT 2013 armv5tel GNU/Linux I think I require a copy of ftdi_sio.ko and usbserial.ko drivers built for this version of Linux but have been unable to locate any on the internet. Note I have downloaded package linux-image-2.6.32-5-kirkwood_2.6.32-48squeeze6_armel.deb and extracted the files but when I do insmod using these I get the error: insmod: error inserting 'ftdi_sio.ko': -1 Invalid module format I do not think I can build the drivers from source on the NAS because it lacks a development environment and the repositories no longer appear to be available? If I try to do "apt-get install gcc" on my ReadyNAS I get errors of this form: Err http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze/main libc-bin armel 2.11.3-4 404 Not Found [IP: 128.30.2.26 80] And does this NAS have the space on its OS partition to store the necessary development tools and Linux kernal headers assuming they are available? (what is the name of the OS partition for a space query?) Any assistance or suggestions on these matters would be appreciated. PaulSolved2.4KViews0likes1Comment
