Please update the Traffic Meter feature for the Nighthawk R7000 to have an increased Monthly Limit that can account into the Tbytes. Comcast as an ISP has began to implement data caps at 1024Mb which equates to 1048576Mbytes but the Monthly Limit field only allows me to enter 104857Mbytes, missing the last digit which is significantly less than the data cap. Given that Comcast is monitoring the traffic it should be available to impose limits and monitor traffic independent of Comcast. It is very important this feature be added. Currently running V1.0.7.10_1.2.3 firmware. This was mentioned in the forums and it was suggested that this be submitted at this location in that post. See below; https://community.netgear.com/t5/VPN-Firewalls/Bugfix-Request-Increase-maximum-monthly-limit-for-Traffic/m-p/1185320#M6496 Original Post "This in regards to the Traffic Meter monitoring function of the SRX5308 VPN Firewall. However this would apply to any device in Netgear's product lineup that monitors the amount of IP traffic per month. Currently the traffic meter can set a monthly traffic limit of up to a maximum of 256000 MB (~250 GB). However, this is insufficient for those who are using Comcast as an ISP where the limit is set to 1 Terabyte (1024 Gb). Request that the montly traffic limit setting be adjustable in the Terabyte range." Reply "I advise you to post your concern as feature request in the Idea Exchange Board for Business here. Be reminded that the community members who will give kudos to your idea will help as the development team will be reviewing the post that has the most kudos and it might be considered to be added on the future functionality of the product."60KViews8likes20CommentsXR500 - Keeps dropping Internet
I have an XR500 that has been working fine for the last month and a half, no settings have been changed and all of a sudden the last 2 days the router has been dropping internet (Ethernet and WiFi) and will reconnect then almost a minute or 2 later disconnect again making my home internet useless. Any thoughts or suggestions to remedy this issue?2.9KViews0likes1CommentNetgear gs108ev3 Internet Probleme
Also Internet abbricht. Vlt kann mir jemand mit diesem Verdammt ärgerlichen Problem helfen.6.1KViews0likes5Commentsr6900 dropping internet connection on 2.4, not 5.0
My Router R6900 with Firmware V1.0.1.36 continues to drop Internet on 2.4GHz for Windows 10 PC's, Macs, iPads. I have been using the R6900 for almost 2 years, and in the last few weeks began to have issues. I updated to Firmware V1.0.1.34 several weeks ago, and I don't recall if the Internet dropping issue started before or after that firmware update. Last week I updated Firmware to V1.0.1.36 and while I am dropping less often I still drop Internet a couple times a day on 2.4GHz (while wired and 5.0GHz remain connected). Via another device (connected via 5.0GHz), I can modify the Channel Selection on 2.4GHz (thru Netgear Genie) and restore the Internet connection for 2.4GHz. Each time the Internet connection drops (2-3x per day) I have been repeating that process.Solved5.8KViews0likes7CommentsNetgear D6200 - Intermittent WAN problems
We have a Netgear D6200 and it’s been working beautifully for the last year and a bit. However, I went away on holiday and have come back to find that the connection to the internet is pretty much unusable. I’m reasonably sure there’s something odd going on with the router and I’ve listed out what I’ve observed below. I’d really appreciate any help in trying to get things running smoothly again! Setup We have a fiber optic cable (NBN) connected to a box installed in the house. The Netgear router is connected to this box via ethernet. Our devices connect to the router via WiFi. The router sits on a desk in our living room. It's not in direct sunlight and there aren't any obvious sources of moisture or anything. (We live in Sydney, so it can get pretty warm this time of year, but we left the blinds down the whole time, which normally keeps things a reasonable temperature inside.) The NBN box is in our wardrobe in the bedroom. Symptoms Sluggish/intermittent internet connectivity when browsing/streaming. All devices report a strong connection to the WiFi. The Internet LED is green on the router. When a laptop is connected via WiFi: Pinging the router showed good response times and no packet loss. Pinging www.google.com.au showed poor response time and severe packet loss. (The packet loss is anywhere from 40-80%) When a laptop is connected to the router via Ethernet: Same as with WiFi. It doesn’t seem to be a wireless connectivity issue. When a laptop is connected directly to the NBN box: Pinging www.google.com.au showed good response times and no packet loss. Browsing is as per normal. What I’ve Tried Rebooting the router via the control panel. Powering off the router by pushing the button on the back and unplugging it. Updating the router firmware from V1.1.00.20_1.00.20 to V1.1.00.26_1.00.26. Factory resetting the router. Powering off the router and the NBN box. This seemed to work once, but the problem returned shortly thereafter. Switching the WiFi on and off on our devices.SolvedR7800 losing internet after modem reconnection

Hi, I am using a readynas 104 on firmware 6.8.0. The NAS was working fine and every time I went into the dashboard I was getting automatic notifications about firmware updates. The other day I plugged the NAS into a d-link 5 port gigabit switch and while I can still; access the internet on my network (including other devices running out of the same switch as the NAS) and access file shares on my NAS from the entire network, it has stopped backing up on the cloud (readyvault) and gives me the below error message. " Operation timeout. communication error. check your internet connection, DNS settings or proxy settings. " Seems to me the NAS has suddenly stopped seeing the internet... does anyone have any ideas on what could be the cause?1.1KViews0likes3CommentsA6100 takes a few minutes after start up to connect to internet.
