Please update the Traffic Meter feature for the Nighthawk R7000 to have an increased Monthly Limit that can account into the Tbytes. Comcast as an ISP has began to implement data caps at 1024Mb which equates to 1048576Mbytes but the Monthly Limit field only allows me to enter 104857Mbytes, missing the last digit which is significantly less than the data cap. Given that Comcast is monitoring the traffic it should be available to impose limits and monitor traffic independent of Comcast. It is very important this feature be added. Currently running V1.0.7.10_1.2.3 firmware. This was mentioned in the forums and it was suggested that this be submitted at this location in that post. See below; https://community.netgear.com/t5/VPN-Firewalls/Bugfix-Request-Increase-maximum-monthly-limit-for-Traffic/m-p/1185320#M6496 Original Post "This in regards to the Traffic Meter monitoring function of the SRX5308 VPN Firewall. However this would apply to any device in Netgear's product lineup that monitors the amount of IP traffic per month. Currently the traffic meter can set a monthly traffic limit of up to a maximum of 256000 MB (~250 GB). However, this is insufficient for those who are using Comcast as an ISP where the limit is set to 1 Terabyte (1024 Gb). Request that the montly traffic limit setting be adjustable in the Terabyte range." Reply "I advise you to post your concern as feature request in the Idea Exchange Board for Business here. Be reminded that the community members who will give kudos to your idea will help as the development team will be reviewing the post that has the most kudos and it might be considered to be added on the future functionality of the product."60KViews8likes20CommentsA6210 Wireless Adapter Keeps Disconnecting
Every 30-40 minutes or so, my A6210 wireless adapter is connected to the router, but not the Internet. This is for around 2-3 minutes before the adapter connects back to the Internet. How do I fix this issue? I constantly get disconnected from any online games I'm in and it sucks. During this 2-3 minute period, the Internet on my other devices works fine, but not on this PC. I'm also using WIndows 10 and have the latest firmware of Netgear Genie, 1.0.0.34.Solved26KViews0likes6CommentsD6000 Problemi di connessione
Spero possiate aiutarmi.11KViews0likes4CommentsAC1200 randomly disconnecting
I'm about at my wits end with this USB adapter, for the last number of days since I picked it up. Pretty much from day 1 it's been randomly disconnecting from my internet, it's still connected to my usb but it refuses to connect to any wifi signal, unplugging it doesn't work, resetting my computer doesn't work, and when it does it lasts about a whole 5 minutes before it's back to square one. I've uninstalled everything for it then reinstalled it. I've used the cd download, and the download on this website but still nothing is working. I'm running on windows 10 and see a lot of these problems come from people using windows 10. Is there any fix for this? These things aren't cheap and to have it not work is infuriating. Also Internet abbricht. Vlt kann mir jemand mit diesem Verdammt ärgerlichen Problem helfen.6.1KViews0likes5CommentsMy PS4 will connect to my N750 router and the internet, but can't use PSN.
I am having an issue with my WNDR4300 N750 WiFi Dual Band Gigabit Router running on firmware version V1.0.0.32. It would seem that this router is cutting off connections with the Playstation Network. Having used a previous router and everything working fine, after the installation of the new router, PSN on my PS4 and the PS App on my phone cannot connect. After having been through several calls with both the PS support and my ISP support, I am hoping to find some solutions here. The easiest solution to me at the moment is to simply buy a new router, but I would prefer being able to use this one. Hope someone can help with this issue!Solvedr6900 dropping internet connection on 2.4, not 5.0
My Router R6900 with Firmware V1.0.1.36 continues to drop Internet on 2.4GHz for Windows 10 PC's, Macs, iPads. I have been using the R6900 for almost 2 years, and in the last few weeks began to have issues. I updated to Firmware V1.0.1.34 several weeks ago, and I don't recall if the Internet dropping issue started before or after that firmware update. Last week I updated Firmware to V1.0.1.36 and while I am dropping less often I still drop Internet a couple times a day on 2.4GHz (while wired and 5.0GHz remain connected). Via another device (connected via 5.0GHz), I can modify the Channel Selection on 2.4GHz (thru Netgear Genie) and restore the Internet connection for 2.4GHz. Each time the Internet connection drops (2-3x per day) I have been repeating that process.Solved5.8KViews0likes7CommentsNighthawk R7000 continuously dropping internet connection after firmware update
I updated the firmware yesterday to V1.0.7.2_1.1.93. Since then, the internet connection drops every 10mins to an hour. It reconnects within a minute. The router itself is still up and running, serving both wired and wifi connections. Has anyone seen this? Are there any settings I should tweak? Are there know firmware issues? Thanks.Solved5.6KViews0likes7CommentsR7800 losing internet after modem reconnection

Hello, Problem: Router R7000 with firmware 1.0.4.30 is connected to Netgear modem CM500 which is connected to ComCast Cable internet. Everything worked fine until yesterday - nothing changed in setup, the internet stops working. Called ComCast - they confirmed they were able to ping the CM500 modem. I connected ethernet cable from modem to laptop - internet works fine. ComCast confirms modem & internet is fine - problem is in the R7000 router. When i connect ethernet cable from modem to laptop, the ethernet light in the modem is green/stable. When i connect the same cable to router, the ethernet light in the modem doesn't light up. Also on the router, the internet light doesn't light up at all. Troubleshooting performed on the R7000 router: Restore to factory settings Power Cycle the router/modem set up Firmware upgrade & repeat the above Installed NetGear genie app and repeated all the above tests I do see the MAC address on the router. Did refresh of laptop internet settings etc. Contact with NetGear Support: Contacted them to see if they honor the 1 year hardware warranty (since my router is still within this period). They asked me to post in this forum and didn't confirm anything about the 1 year hardware warranty - this sounds very weird to me, as clearly something is wrong with the router & I did not cause it to go wrong. Purchased the router from BestBuy and I have the purchase receipt. Can someone help me with how to proceed from here? I am pretty confident that I need to change the router - but I don't want to just buy one myself since the router is 9 months old & within the hardware warranty period. Please advice.
