2 TopicsR6400 Weak Power, low range
Hi all I have bought the R6400 to reach all rooms in my house. Sadly, the router from the internet provider has more range and power even if it is standing a floor below. Furhter, the R6400 is unable to get through more than one room or into another floor. (Trough a wood ceiling!!, Not an army shelter) I have the Wlan power on 100 %. If I am right there are three possibilities: Either the router is defect or Netgear is promising ******* or I made a mistake. I would be thankfull if somebody know an answer. Folks I have used mynetgear for about 2 years with no major issues. However, in the past 2 weeks, I had issues when my ISP changed my IP. My N900 is not updating anymore the mynetgear host. Trying to test, I got the following message - Unable to complete the job, reason: Unable to locate hostname in your account I am starting to think this is any kind of proposital issue to force me acquire the paid plan from no-ip. It impact my home surveilance cameras, and it is quite frustating. Do someone is facing or faced a similar issue ? Please advise. Thanks everyoneSolved
