3 TopicsAV-QSys network and WAP Mesh suggestions
Hello I have a project on a metal passenger ship that is all metal. The sound system runs with QSC Qsys (Qlan) network as well as wireless communication for control. The 3 to 4 APs should be mesh formatted and run in conjunction with the Netgear GSM4212P-100NAS switch and will cover small localized areas. One of the APs should be weatherproof. This with carry very little wireless traffic with only a handful of users. It will act as a local network only. No connection to the internet. Potentially this would carry communication for retail point of sale devices as well. What APs would you suggest for this? Thank youAdvise on Netgear M4300-16X (PoE 199W) - XSM4316PA-100NES
I am eyeing on this switch for some time now (Netgear M4300-16X (PoE 199W)) and currently am able to aquire one with a good price deal, but notice that a lot of stores have this version no longer in stock (only the 500W version). So i am wondering if the 199W version is going to be EOL soon or being replaced soon with another version. I just want to be sure that i'm not buying a 2k switch that will no longer receive support any time soon.294Views0likes1CommentInquiry: 24×1 Gbps Copper + 2x10G Copper & 4×10 G SFP+ Uplink - Layer‑3 Switch (non‑PoE)
Hello, I am looking for a Layer‑3 switch from NETGEAR with the following specifications: 24 ports of 1 Gbps copper RJ‑45 (non‑PoE) 2 ports of 10 Gbps copper & 4 ports of 10 Gbps SFP+ uplinks Full Layer‑3 routing features (static routing, inter‑VLAN routing, etc.) I previously used the GSM4328S, but I understand that it has been declared End‑of‑Life (EoL). Could you please advise if NETGEAR currently offers a model that matches or closely matches the above requirements? If there is none, I’d appreciate suggestions for the closest alternative.266Views1like4Comments
