Advise on Netgear M4300-16X (PoE 199W) - XSM4316PA-100NES
I am eyeing on this switch for some time now (Netgear M4300-16X (PoE 199W)) and currently am able to aquire one with a good price deal, but notice that a lot of stores have this version no longer in stock (only the 500W version). So i am wondering if the 199W version is going to be EOL soon or being replaced soon with another version. I just want to be sure that i'm not buying a 2k switch that will no longer receive support any time soon.

The difference is just in the modular (!) power supply. The switch itself is identical, the power budget limitation is set by the power supply.
Wherever you have checked the availability, it's possible Netgear does no longer supply to certain online-only-dealers, since many of these falsely mark these switch models and variants "EoL"- leading to false "EoL" impressions to the market.
Both XSM4316PA and XSM4316PB remain readily available in the distribution channel - while the XSM4316PB is easier to find.
