I have an Rax70 Nighthawk router. I just increased my internet from 1 gig to 2 gigs. I attempted to change the speed I got an error message. Unable to establish Wan aggregation. ( See Below). I have all Cat 6 cabling, OS - Windows, All firmware up to date. Any suggestions on what other setting might need to be changed? Greetings, I have the following NETGEAR product: Nighthawk 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router (RAX10) Serial Number: All of my router's service ports used to be in stealth mode. Testing was done at ShieldsUP (https://www.grc.com/shieldsup). After applying the following updates, all of my service ports are closed but only about a dozen are in stealth mode. Router Firmware Version V1.0.18.164 Router Firmware Version V1.0.19.172 Has anyone found how to resolve this issue? Thanks!SolvedRe: RAX-70 second 5 Ghz band drops randomly
I know I'm late to reply but I just bought one of these routers (rax70) and had same issue (it was disconnecting after about a minute and only on the fast 5ghz network). My resolution was to do 3 things to the fast 5g network, one was change from channel 100dfs to 128dfs, second was to change from wpa2 to wpa3 security and third was to change the adapter settings on the computer, setting roaming aggressiveness from low to medium and I haven't had a disconnect in over 2.5 hours. I'm using firmware V1.0.13.128 as that's the latest one that supports 4800Mbps on the fast 5ghz network, all firmwares after that nerf the fast 5g speed to 2400Mbps. Hope this helped.RAX70 - issues since latest firmware update - usb speed dropped massively
Just updated my netgear rax70 router and since the firmware update, the usb speed is only maxing out at 30mb transfer rate, it was 100mb before the firmware update and working fine ! how do i fix this, nothing wrong with the ssd drive via usb to the router how is it possible to change back to the previous firmware ? Also there was a issue with the 2.4ghz wifi, the speed was only 3mb ! (1gb connection) had to manually switch of the 2.4ghz and back on again, and that speed to fix that. Why aren't firmware releases checked before releasing ??? using cat7 from main pc direct to router. Rax70 is using - Router Firmware Version V1.0.19.172Windows computers won't connect to WIFI after router reset
I did a reset on my RAX70 router and everything came back online except for the windows computers on WiFi. They won't connect to the WiFi at all. I get the "can't connect to this network" on every single one of them. All my other devices connected fine after the reset. I have a desktop windows computer connected by ethernet and that is working fine. I enabled the guest network with no security and tried to sign into that, but I got the same result. I rebooted the windows computers, told them to "forget" the old WiFi networks and tried again, but none of that worked. I'm out of ideas. Any help greatly appreciated. I'm using Win11.Solved
