Can't set up smtp for eMail notifications
Moin, ich versuche in meinem Orbi System die emails Settings einzustellen. Ich habe einen email account bei all-inkl. Leider klappt es nicht da der MAilserver als Fehler (504 5.5.2 <mail-user@RBR40>: Sender address reje zurückgibt. Heisst das OrbiTeil bräuchte eine vollqualifizierte Return Adresse. Ich habe es nun zwar mit einem gamail account hinbekommen, aber auchnur dadurch, dass ich die sicherheitsstfe runtergeschraubt habe. Bei einem BrotherDrucker klappt das versenden wunderbar, da hier auch die "email-Adresse des Gerätes eingegeben werden kann. Ich hoffe Netgear kann dass fixen, wenn all die anderen Problem mit dem Teil endlich mal wieder geflickt sind. BTW, kann man die Protokolle auch gesprächiger machen. Im Standard steht da nicht viel drin. Gruß Leif

Do More > Access Schedule Menu
Hello, Once connected, I see the menus at the top left. The firmware update is accessible. I am in V1.0.2.50. However, nothing happens if I click Settings or Do More. I would like to access the synchronization of the clock.

Disable Live Parental Controls button
I have setup netgear genie which seems good on the surface, but my kids just figured out another weakness. There is a netgear genie icon on the desktop. Click it, select parental controls and low and behold, there is the button that says "Disable Live Parental Controls". No password required. Even though they cannot change my custom settings, they finally found the button. Is there a setup option that will make this accessible only via password? The other one that kills me (which I have posted before) for which there seems to be no solution is that if I turn on blocking at a certain time, if they are in the site currently, it doesn't actively block. I have to reboot the router for the blocking to start. I thought it would actively kill sessions. Between these two flaws, I feel like there is not really any security (yeah... I know. Like there really ever was anyway). But I am trying!

Advanced Settings not working
Hi, I have a problem to open "Advanced Settings" in my R6400 Router, it's like this from beginning (I remember it worked once for me after some firmware update), when I click on this it showes totally nothing (basic works fine). I've tried to enter settings from many different devices (PC, laptops, phones etc.), factory reset, cookies cleaning and logging via different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge) also don't working. It's an big issue for me for example I can't turn off the lights from router which is really annoying and what is more annoying I can't swtich any advanced settings so basically I don't know how to solve this and I'm waiting for any magical advice.

WPS setting "Keep Existing Wireless Settings"
What is this? I find the documentation inadequate. "Keep Existing Wireless Settings This shows whether the router is in the WPS configured state. If this option is not selected, adding a new wireless client will change the router's wireless settings to an automatically generated random SSID and security key. In addition, if this option is selected, some external registrars (e.g., Network Explorer on Windows 7) might not see the router. Configuring basic wireless settings from the router's management GUI selects this option automatically." I have unclecked (cleared) the "Enable Router's PIN" checkbox. WPS should now be disabled. What role does "Keep Existing Wireless Settings" play now? It is checked (enabled). Should I clear it? Why?

RN2120v2 - Can't (completely) replicate settings between two readynas using Configuration Backup
Hi all, i have to set up several ReadyNas 2120v2 with same settings, i have to do this in an isolated subnetwork (no internet) so i'm using "Configuration Backup" in System menu. I downloaded the "configuration archive" from the first ReadyNas, checking "Everything" button. So i uploaded the configuration file to a new ReadyNas previously upgraded with the same firmware of the first ReadyNas (6.6.0), using the "Restore" function. After the reboot, i noticed that the ReadyNas restored hasn't fully configured like the first ReadyNas. While Shares, accounts and active services are replicated, Host name and Network settings remain unchanged. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Netgear DGND3700v2 cannot save settings after restart
I have a Netgear DGND3700v2 modem. I cannot seem to save any changes to the settings, including the modems password. If i change the modem's password or ip address or any settings, it will all be fine until i power off the modem and once i power on i get the old settings which i wanted to change. I have tried to use a different browser (like chrome), i have tried to update to the latest firmware and i just cannot seem to be able to SAVE any setting on the modem. Once i power off, and power back on it always goes back to the last setting that were last saved (a long time ago) and not the settings i am trying to save. Please help...

can't send email alerts to more than 2 contacts
I've upgraded several of my customers RN2120 Ready-Nas units to 6.5.1. Now it seems I cannot send email alerts to more than 2 contacts. If I add a third contact, and click send test message and apply, no one gets the email notification but it says "test message sent" If I take out the third contact, and try agin both email contacts get the message. Also, it keeps reverting to the first contact on the list as the sender.

File Acces/ network access rights and current access denied of added users through the app
Hello, I have been struggling for the last couple of days with having a safe, limited accessed system but still providing access rights to the added users. Currently I have added 2 cloudusers. In readycloud I have provided them with read/write rights. I can see that back in my network access tab a the selected shared folder (e.g. Documents) in my Admin page, Shares, Documents, Settings --> Network access. Going one tab further to File Access (security), the Folder Owner and Folder Group are selected on Admin (For info) but not being able to put the boxes on at the added users (they are a kind of grey and cannot be selected) for read or read/write access. Next thing I tried was selecting everyone row giving access for read or read/write. After having selected this row as being activated, the users will have access. However, I prefer not providing everyone access since I do not know who is actually everyone... all users I added, or everyone? I also want to differentiate between the users (since some are very close (within the house) and other are close friends but still I would give them limited access (read only). Can you please help? Or differently stated: What would be the best way to setup my settings on the safest way but still being able to give different users different access rights to the same folder?
