5 TopicsSRR60 - random Wi-Fi drops
I have an SRR60 with four active SSID's and about 75 devices connected. (A lot of home automation) A couple times a day, the Wi-Fi seems to shut off. Multiple devices and PC's in the house report no Wi-Fi connection. This occurs on all the SSID's 5 and 2.5 at the same time. About a minute or two later everything restores. I'm on the latest/last firmware. 2.7.3.100. The uptime on the debug page is accurate. The unit is not rebooting. No errors or bad signals on the cable modem. (bridged and no Wi-Fi) Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.WAC104 Unable to Control WiFI Channel BandWidth
I setup 4 WAC104 as Acces Points, and there are no settings available to limit channel Bandwidth in 2.4 and 5GHz spectrums. There is a compatibility setting which appears to give no control over BandWidth. The shopping Center is very congested and I would like to force SSID "VillageLife" to 20MHz (See attached Images). This should be a setting to make it more friendly in congested areas. Apple devices do not use 40MHz, only 20MHz. Am I missing something? I contacted Tech Support and they claim there is no setting to limit Bandwidth, and told me to post it here. Most WiFi AP units I have dealt with allow you to limit bandwidth, so I'm surprised to see there is no bandwidth setting, and therefore hard to recommend to other clients (we like the 4 LAN ports SWITCH, allowing us to hardwire local computers to Ethernet and not WiFi).23KViews1like2Commentsmake it possible to go up one level in cli configuration of WNDAP620
it would be cool to be able to go up one level during cli configuration of said AP. Like in Ciscos IOS, if you are in "configure terminal" or in an "interface" you should be able to go up one config level to be able to choose a different configuration item. At the moment you're "stuck" in the lower level and need to reconnect (and relogin) to configure the AP further10KViews1like1CommentWAC120 WiFi turning off...
My first time working with the WAC120, and I have an odd problem. I purchased 17 of these units for two hotels. All 17 units configured identically (two different networks, of course). 12 of the units function perfectly, but 5 of them are turning off WiFi after about 90 seconds. I've double (and triple) checked all settings in all units, tried turning them off and on, tried pulling the plug for a minute, same thing. Scheduling is disabled, and I'm at a loss. When turned on, the units work perfectly for approximately 90 seconds, then the WiFi light goes out and of course no more connection. I've seen a couple similar issues searching the forums, but no solution to this particular problem. Just wondered if anyone might have any ideas. I haven't checked logs yet, that's tomorrow's first job, but hoped I might get some ideas before then. Thanks...Solved4.4KViews0likes4Comments
