How to connect to 2.4GHz devices to the orbi

I have bought a HeimVision 1080P Security Camera HM203 UG WiFi Home Indoor Camera with smartphone app which only connects to a 2.4ghz but it's connecting to my ORBI which it should connect to both 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz. What steps do I need to take to connect them together?

Netgear provides a simple mechanism to accomplish this:
Log into the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net)
Navigate to the Advanced Tab, Advanced Settings, Wireless Settings
Uncheck the box, "Broadcast SSID on 5G"
    Click "Apply"
All devices that are currently connected to the Orbi will remain connected.
On the smartphone, go to wireless settings and "forget" the Orbi SSID
Search for available WiFi networks. Select the Orbi WiFi. Enter the password. and connect.
If you are curious about whether the smartphone is actually connected at 2.4G, you have to wait a few minutes, because the "Attached Devices" display takes a while to update.
Open the app and set up the 2.4G device.
Once the device is connected and working as it should, reverse the steps.
Check the "Broadcast" box and click "Apply"
"Forget" the Orbi WiFi. Search. Enter password. Connect.

Be aware that there seems to be a time limit with some iOS or Android devices that will connect to the 2.4Ghz radio for a short period of time before changing automatically to the 5Ghz SSID, even though it's been hidden. The SSID is hidden only, thus the signal is still present. So you might want to also change the power output of the 5Ghz radio to 25%. Then connect your mobile device at a distance from the RBR to ensure the mobile phone keeps connected to the 2.4Ghz radio. After you get the IoT device connected, re-configure the system back to where it was.

When I logged into the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net), there were no tabs to navigate to! There wasn't an Advanced Tab, Advanced Settings, or Wireless Settings. What internet browser did you use? I tried both Firefox and Safari, but neither has tabs on the orbilogin site.

      Thank you for clarification.

Thanks for asking, I am sure you have alot of other stuff to do, but i really want to know what is the best solution you still have found. Thanks

  •  FURRYe38   If I click on your link I go to what looks like Netgear's product page. If I type 192.168.1.1 I go to my router settings.

I click on the advanced tab but I don't see any checkbox that says Broadcast on SSID to uncheck

Netgear provided a feature to enable/disable broadcasting the WiFi SSID on the original Orbi models.  That feature was dropped when the newer products were introduced.  (This is one of the pitfalls of trying to continue a discussion from 2020 rather than begin a new discussion.)

The vast majority of Internet of Things (IoT) devices connect to Orbi WiFi systems as easily as they do to any other mesh WiFi.  Unfortunately, there are some products which have poorly written application software which makes the original setup difficult. (Once the device has been connected to the customer WiFi system, this problem disappears.)

I suggest beginning a new conversation. Please include:

      • Which specific Orbi system is being used. (From the product label on the bottom of the router.)
      • Which specific device is being connected to WiFi.
      • A link to the vendor instructions for connecting the device to WiFi.
      • A description of where in the process the failure occurs.
