Need to force phone to connect to 2.4GHz, how?
Hi
I have the ORBI RB50 system.
Today I installed a heat pump for my pool and the heat pump has a wifi interface and an app to connect to it, the app is called Inverboost.
It says the phone with the app must be connected to 2.4 GHz, as the heat pump.
However, my phone is generally connected to the 5GHz Wifi, and I can't find any way to force it to 2.4GHz, either in the router or in the phone.
The app says the heat pump is off line, but when I look in the router I can see the heat pump is connected.
How can I fix this?

a couple things here.
- thats some lazy coding on the makers of the heat pump
- If the orbi is showing it connected, it probably is. That leads to #3
- What modem/gateway is the orbi connected to? Most devices don't have issues with double nats but its those poorly coded or IoT devices that tend to.
The Orbi is connected directly to a fiber converter, there's no modem or gateway.
What converter?
the number of times I've been told that "its just a converter" and it isn't, is not a small amount
It's the fiber converter. It converts the fiber entering my house to ethernet, so I can connect the Orbi to internet. But I doubt it has anything to do with the issue at hand.
But please, if you think it is something else, please tell me what it is. Please also explain what it has to do with my issue, so I understand.
Thanks! What actual model is it? Double nats cause all kinds of issues. Without a model, its tough to rule out and its pointness to throw out random suggestions if we don't know what we're dealing with
