Orbi 50 router wifi not working or eithernet to desktop
Hi I’ve had my router & satellite for 2 yrs. suddenly WiFi not working. Router will not hook up and the eithernet cord to my desktop does not work. If I hook up the computer directly to the cable router computer works but no internet via the orbi eithernet oe WiFi

Can you describe the behavior of the Orbi power and "ring" LED's when the router is powered on?

- It blinks white then goes to purple. Wireless does not work. If I have my desktop plugged in to the orbi router via ethernet has no internet but if I plug computer in directly to the modem computer has internet. Problem with orbi router
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? IF this has a built in router and wifi, This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. There is no WiFi in the modem. All was working well until recently. It is strange that Ethernet cord from orbi hardwire to my computer dosent send signal either.
Try a factory reset on the RBR.
Swap LAN cables.
Same thing happens with a different PC?
