Orbi RBK 23 - ethernet port issues on Router
we have just purchased an Orbi RBK23 pack (router plus 2 satelites). System all set up and wifi working. Attempting to connect Netgear GS105 Switch to the Ethernet port on the Router but not getting any internet connection to devices. No connection if we connect device directly to the router either. Connection and switch works if we connect the switch to the ethernet ports on one of the satelites.
Original thought was a faulty ethernet port on router and returned to store. Same issue with the new one.
Are there any seetings we need to change?

I would check your network patch cables then, as they may be faulty.
- Posty71AspirantCables all seam to work on other connections ie when I connect the switch to a satellite it works
Have now upgraded to manageable switch gs305e as support thinks it may be a vlan issue / still having issues so back on the help lineBe sure to disable ALL IGMP protocols on this managed switch. Also disable green ethernet features if possible.

Which modem are you using?
What firmware is on there?
Are you setting it up as follows:
modem------->wan port on RBR20----------lan port------gs105.
have you tried any of the other ports?
Different cables?
- Posty71AspirantModem provided by ISP - Arris CM 8200
Modem connected to “Internet” Port on router and switch to “Ethernet” port - only 2 ports
Have upgraded switch to GS305e today as support believes it may be an issue with VLAN but still having no luck - in q again now for support

1. A router with wan aggregation. Which the RBK23 kit isn't.
2. A ISP that allows more than 1 public IP address. The vast majority don't allow more than 1 public ip address.
So just to clarify, the switch is connected to the orbi and not to the modem, correct?
