ORBI Satellite drops Connection as soon as I connect it to a switch

I have a few ORBI AC3000 satellites. I always had one satellite providing network to an 8 port Netgear switch and have never had an issue. For a few days now as soon as I connect the switch to the satellite the satellite loses all connectivity and stops working all together. As soon as I disconnect the ethernet cable to the switch it starts working again. I went ahead and used another known working switch and the issue continues.

Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.

there is a newer version you can try. Make sure to update the satellites first, then the router.

Try connecting only the switch with nothing connected to the switch.

What switch are you using?

  I have a simple Netgear unmanaged switch and I also tried a Zylxel switch. I did try without anything else connected to the switch and it still happened. It literally happens as soon as I connect the switch.

    Do you have more than 1 satellite? Have you tried it on each ?
    What firmware version are you on for the router and for the satellites?
