Charging issues Nighthawk M60 Pro (unlocked)

I am having issues with my new Nighthawk M6 Pro mobile hotspot (unlocked).  Using the factory USB-C to USB-A cable and power brick in the mains seems to take so long to charge.  I am basically plugging in, turning on and leaving to do its thing. I come back 8-10 hour later and I am seeing, like, a 10% increase in charge.  Do I need to do anything a certain way?

 

FYI, I have also tried a different battery, but still the same.

 

Any ideas?

    While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

    You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems

    Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.

    You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.

    In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

    You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

    I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

  • did you try a different charger?

    does it run fine if powered by usb with the battery removed?

        So, it works with the battery out.
        It seems to Charge better/quicker when I plug in the USB to USBC and original charge brick then press and hold the power off button. This then gives me the option to select off / charge. It then charges like a dream. If this is all I have to do, then awesome.
        Tried with my USB C to USB C cable and new Anker 735 charger. Didn’t have the charge option and charged at about 5-10% in 24hrs. No good.

        Anyone used this charger and would it only work if I used the USBA part of the Anker charger?
