MR1100 says connected but NO internet
Please help me figure this out. I have a MR1100 hotspot, using an AT&T sim card with grandfathered Unlimited plan on a PRE paid plan. I have used this for over 2 years but on thursday it stopped working. when I use a laptop to check the settings, it shows that the Mr1100 is connected, it also shows that it is connected to my devices but with NO internet. I don't want to lose this plan and would love to figure this out. I've seen that others have had the problem but no one has SOLVED it. I've done a factory reset , and I've updated firmware. Someone PLEASE be my Superhero and Save me. Thanks in Advance , Michael

It could be related to your AT&T plan. Please contact AT&T to see what has been changed on your plan. Seems AT&T is phasing out 3G service. I am not sure whether this is related to that.
Thanks
- KS1256AspirantATT still has 5g and the MR1100 was working fine on that before.
I tried soft power cycle, hard reset and now trying to edit the APN manually but cant find an answer on whats most likely settings...
Other router forums redirect me here...
Anyone at Netgear can pop in here and answer up?
The MR1100 was previously branded on ATT and only one generation older than the MR5.
This cant be that hard...- JohnPengNETGEAR Expert

This cant be that hard...Are you using MR1100-100NAS with AT&T SIM card? Or you are using AT&T branded MR1100?
For AT&T APN setting, please use broadband.
Thanks
Mr. Peng, I just wanted to say Thank you. I did contact AT&T, talked with 4 people , all very helpful. It seems my plan was being used by someone else. It's under investigation and they told me not to worry, that as soon as the investigation was complete, they would reinstate my plan. They also stopped my autopay to make sure they were not charging for something I was not using.

I had the exact same issue. 2 days ago it all of a sudden stopped working. I was able to connect but it said "internet not available." I called ATT and they said my account was suspended. The rep couldn't find any reason for why it was suspended but was able to restore it while I was on the phone. Took about a hour of calling att customer service.
I found my answer and wanted to share with others in hopes it might help someone in the future. I just spoke with my fourth person at AT&T, they have all been extremely helpful...Patrick informed me that my account had been suspended because it appeared that someone else was trying to use it. They suspended my autopay (which I used to make sure I did not let this plan lapse as it is a very good plan) He said that they would inform me when the investigation was complete and then reinstate me. I have heard of this before and just wanted to post this as a possiblity. Thanks for all you suggestions. AT&T was very helpful.
