NBK752 (AX4200) not failing over to 5G
Hi folks
Got the above set up as broadband (Ethernet) set as the primary with mobile 5G as the backup in the event of primary internet failing.
The problem is it’s not failing over. When you log into the dashboard LTE so as active, connection status is connected with a WAN IP address allocated but there is no onward internet connectivity to any devices on the network. If I do a speed test within the dashboard it’s says it’s not connected to the internet.
Power cycle the router and everything springs into life. I’d hoped failover wouldn’t require manual intervention as I travel a lot of my primary broadband is often flakey.
Hoping it’s a config I’ve got wrong - any ideas welcome.
thanks in advance.

I would start by double checking that Failover is set correctly as described on page 24 of the user manual:

It is not clear (to me) what this means:
- Power cycle while the ISP connection is off-line, and the router wakes up and switches to LTE automatically?
- or...???

Hey thanks - yep all the failover settings are correct.
I mean if you power cycle router whilst its in the state of thinking its connected to the mobile network but obviously isn't it connect to the mobile network and works...

Ah - interesting.. Oddly I am sure it worked on the day I set up a month or so ago - but the internet failed yesterday and nothing... I've logged a ticket - I'll keep you posted on what I get back.
