Can’t reach GS108PEv3 management interface (static IP)
I have a ProSAFE Gigabit Plus Switch with PoE (GS108PEv3).
I followed suggestions to give it a fixed IP address and turn DHCP off. Previously, I had it do DHCP with a static lease in the router. It would fall back to its default IP address in the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, of 192.168.0.239.
Now, I can again not reach it by doing http://192.168.19.3/ . I don’t understand, why.

Most suggestions in the community here come from other community users. Different ideas source from different individual management efforts and experiences. There is no final and definitive right or wrong. If I want to be on the safe side, I tend to try a static config, plus add a MAC IP reservation for the DHCP case (funny users might play with the factory default buttons). And whatever other odd results effects caused by an open rest button access.
