Do I need fully managed switches?

Hi,

 

I appologise in advance for my question, as I am very new to this!  I am building a large home / SO network with an XS712T as the core.  I will be having 2 stacks side by side, with various switches in both. However, I would like to access the control gui for all of these switch from one web GUI.  (i.e. 1 ip address).  I know if i purchase stackable switches I can connect the switches together using SFP+ cables.  However, can this also be done I use L2 fully managed switches too?

    I suggest you to try the NMS300.  The NMS300 is a web-based user interface that helps you monitor and administer an entire network.  The XS712T is one of the Smart Managed Switches supported by the NMS300.  Kindly check the following links below for more details:
