Find MAC Address on switch

Good Morning,

Just need some advice on how to find the MAC address which is connected to a port?

I did go to Switching > Address Table but the port I was looking at had two MAC addresses so I might be looking in the wrong place.

Regards

Rob

  • Well, even a single device can have multiple MAC addresses, from whatever usage. Of  course Switching -> Address Table is the right place to start.

Permitting the connected system does support LLDP-MED, you are able to find the Chassis MAC in System -> LLDP -> Advanced -> Neighbours
