Good budget 10G Base-T Switch

HI All,

Pardon any network terminology faux pas, I know the basics but 10G is a new experience for me.  For a new project we are doing at work we are needing a computing rack, with quite steep bandwidth needs.  Specifically we have 2 servers which are going to be communicating over 10G (http://www.startech.com/uk/Networking-IO/Adapter-Cards/10gb-pcie-nic~ST10000SPEX) as well as around 3 other devices on the network.  What I would like is a nice, cheap smart (or managed) switch that provides at least 2 10G Base-T ports, possibly +1 for an uplink and a few gigabit ports.

I had originally been looking at the 5300-28G as that seems to provide everything we need and then some, but the budget is a bit steep since we are unlikely to utilise it fully.  I then spotted the S3300, which is significantly cheaper but also seems to provide what we need as well.  Is there anything I have missed that would make the S3300 not a viable alternative?

From what I have read in the documentation, they tend to talk about the use of the 10G lines as uplinks, but I assume that there is no reason why they cannot be used as the primary connection for 2 of the servers rather than as uplink lines?
