GS308E limits ports to 100M
Hello, I am using a GS308E Managed Switch in my home network. It is connected on Port 1 with my Router which provides 1 Gbit/s connectivity as both shown within my router and the switches' manage...
So any device connected to this subject GS308E switch does, despite perfect cabling, and for connecting to the uplink router and or to local devices/computers, does not sync beyond 100M?
- Yes exactly, the only connection recognized as 1G is the connection on port 1 to my uplink router. Everything else connected stays at 100M no matter what.
What happens if you take a laptop (with gigabit) and hardwire it into the switch with a short 3-6ft cable?
