Thank you for your response. I think I found the problem. I had all 8 ports plugged in. I unplugged 6,7, and 8 and did a file transfer again and I got the speeds I was looking for. I don't know why having ports 6,7, and 8 plugged in would slow down 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I think I am gonna get a different switch though. Thanks again.

You're welcome! It does not seem to make sense to me that it does not give the correct speed when all of the ports are occupied. Something is clearly going on with the device(s) but it will be hard to locate since this switches are only pass throughs.
