GS748T v4, registering problem.
Hi. I'm the new IT guy for a company. We recently had problems with two of our switches, both ProSafe 48 gig switches. I found the date of purchase for the newer one. But the older one I can't seem to find any information. Its probably way, way before my time here at the company. I was successful in RMAing the newer one. I'm 99.9% sure this isn't a refurbished unit from ebay or something... but I don't have a proof of purchase either. The guy who was here 4 years before me, who most likely bought the unit, didn't leave on great terms as far as documentation. I have a serial number for the device in question, but I have no other idea what to do at this point to get an RMA for it... or even how to register it under my name. Any help would be greatly apprecated.

I looked up plv's serial number and found out that it was not registered. I had asked him to register the unit on the account where the first device is registered. He was able to process an RMA for the said unit.

To anyone who follows this thread,
I looked up plv's serial number and found out that it was not registered. I had asked him to register the unit on the account where the first device is registered. He was able to process an RMA for the said unit.
