Firmware Update Problem Gs748TS v4
Good Day
I have purchased a used switch to learn more about network switches.
The latest firmware was downloaded from netgear site, but after it was installed,
was indicated in smart control center as "unknown" firmware and all port lights are amber
and the 2 fans are running full blast.
I downloaded version 5.0.2.18, which was the original firmware and have tried to install, but
still nothing.

I want to confirm that your switch is GS748Tv4 or GS748TS? I can find version 5.0.2.18 under GS748Tv4, which is we only can get the oldest version.
If you downloaded the latest version 5.4.2.30, after installing, the swich will reboot and all ports lights are yellow, the restart may take several minutes, please do not power off or power on before the reboot process is complete.
Please make sure that you upgrade the fimware follow release notes.
