GSM7224V2 - Multicast disables access
Multiple Issues:
Issue 1: We have ports 1-6 setup on VLAN150 (PVID = 150). As soon as we send about 4Mb/s multicast packets on a port in VLAN150 group, we cannot access the switch (via web) on port 9 VLAN = 1, PVID = 1. A sniffer verifies that no multicast packets are seen on port 9. Admin is in default VLAN1. Pings also timeout.
Issue 2: Setting password. We tried to change the password (Via browser) to something link 'ServeRooom4' and it fails, no errors in logs etc. Eventually we discovered
does not like 3 of the same characters in a password. Fine if for security but at least give warning or tell that in manual etc.
Issue 3.
Serial number reported via the software differs from the one on the sticker. Sticker says:
2B632659004B7 while software reports it as 2B62025N0059A.
Firmware was upgraded from 8.0.1.26 to 8.0.1.36 and then to 8.0.1.4 with no change.
Tested with Linux Firefox, Windows Firefox & Chrome PC's.
