GSM7224v2 Menu missing in GUI for secondary ip vlan routing
Hi, we are using old 7224v2 8.0.1.36 and new M4100-26G 10.0.2.13.
on the new model under "Routing, IP, Advanced" menu, we can find the secondary ip configuration.
on the old model, this menu does not exist but we can use the CLI to add a secondary VLAN routing IP.
ex:
interface vlan 19
routing
ip address 67.85.148.163 255.255.255.224
ip address 10.1.20.1 255.255.255.224 secondary
exit
for the visual aspect, we prefer to use the GUI to do those config. Is ti possible to upgrade à 7224v2 to 10.x.x.x firmware or correct the 8.x.x.x. with new menus

The firmware 10.x.x.x is only intended for M4100 series switches, though you may be able to upload it since it is also a .stk file we do no recommend using it on older models. It might cause issues on the switch or worse it might brick the switch. The GSM7224v2 is an older model and the last firmware update for it was way back in 2012 (replaced by new hardware series m4100-26G). What you can do is to post on our Idea Exchange board regarding request for UI changes or you can contact the Support Team.
