GSM7352s v2 dead after factory reset
This is a used switch that I had purchased second hand. The switch was behaving oddly (sometimes failing to boot) so I decided to do a factory reset on it using the web UI. Unfortunately, it looks like it's bricked now. I always connect a serial cable whenever I work on these. Here's what's printed
NetGear Boot code......
Version 01.00.33 02-03-2011
CPU Card ID: 0x508541
Select an option. If no selection in 3 seconds then
operational code will start.
1 - Start operational code.
2 - Start Boot Menu.
Select (1, 2):
Operational Code Date: Thu Mar 8 15:43:05 2012
Uncompressing.....
Adding 0 symbols for standalone.

Config file 'startup-config' created successfully .
The switch was hung up on that last line for more than what it normally takes. I did a power cycle, and now it does not boot. It's stuck on just printing out this:
â–’
The power and port 49 and 50 LED's are orange.
I've already got a replacement on the way, but is there any way to recover this? can't we manually replace or reprogram the flash in it? There must be something that can be done on the hardware level.
