How do I use the web interface to backup/restore a configuration on the GS724Tv6?
Hi all, Before suggesting that I go to Maintenance/Upload, I must point out that my Maintenance tab only has the following sub-menus: Reset, Export, Update, File Management and Troubleshooting. ...
Haven't had the opportunity operating any GS724T recently, neither the well documented v4 nor the new v6.
I would expect the functionalities for both the Download as well as the Upload functionalities should be similar to....
- TFTP File Download
- HTTP File Download
- TFTP File Upload
- HTTP File Upload
... what is documented in the https://www.netgear.com/support/product/gs724tv4/ Software Administration Manual - with none available yet for the v6.
Can't follow you idea what Windows Application you are referring, to my knowledge there isn't one at all.
Please try to stick with the correct section for posting - this isn't a fully Managed Switch class model, much more a Plus and Smart Switch to discuss Smart Switches (T) and Plus Switches (E), including Local and Remote Management.
I'll challenge a moderator to relocate your posts accordingly.

I run Linux. Not Windows. So, I want to backup and restore my config through the device web gui.

SCC is a relict of the past, some 20 or more 25 years old, combining magiclly some legacy L2 protcols triggering eg. TFTP at some point - features which are disbled by default since several years on all Netger switches. Obsolete digging for a dead horse.
As I said before, I have no access to any GS724T, including the current GS724Tv6. I'm neither Netgear here, but operating bigger nuber of NTGR Smart Managed switches, like GSnnnT and XSnnnT models, and -all- have HTTP and TFTP based up- and download options as described in the GS716Tv3, GS724v4, and GS748Tv5 Software Administration Manual, Chapter 8, Maintenance. I have no reason to believe these controls and functions should no longer be available, neither on the effective devce, nor on the online help - but as said before in a different thread, I can't find the current GS724Tv6 Software Administration Manual, neither.

This is a newer version of Netgear Smart switch and as Kur said from the previous replies the Smart control center may not be compatible with the GS724Tv6. There are 2 ways of updating its software either from Insight or doing it on standalone mode. I cannot see its user manual as well but judging from this new switch, it may have the same interface as with the GS110TPv3 and other new switch in the market. Using its user manual below, you may check page 450 of the link to update the software of the switch on standalone.
