How to configure a port for multiple vlan on M4300-8X8F
Hi,
I'm new here and new to the vlan field and have a vlan issue need you guys to help.
I have an Netgear M4300-8x8F switch and two x86_64 server, the simple diagram display as shown below,
How to configure the switch to permit the vlan to pass the port to each other server?
On the switch, I create one vlan named vlan4, tagged switch port 1 and port2, and configure pvid 4 for the switch port 1 and port 2. However, I can't fill the vlan 10, vlan 500-515, and vlan 600-615 on the VLAN Member field of the port pvid configuration. Can someone help to teach the correct setting?

Hi Oilolay,
Welcomet to NETGEAR community!:smileyhappy:
You should add these VLAN first.
The CLI is recommend method to create VLAN.
You can also name the VLAN just created by CLI from GUI.
Then add VLAN for port of switch by GUI.
This configuration will make VLAN Tag 10,500-515,600-615 on port.

Hi Daniel_Z,
Thank you for the reply. I'm still stupid in this ...
May I know why the PVID is 10, not set it as 4?
And according the describtion, it will make multiple vlan on the switch port 1. If I did the same thing for the switch port 2, and the can make both of server to communicate to each other?
