IGMP snooping not working for 224.0.0.x range
On my GS716Tv2 I've noticed that all IGMP "Join Multicast Group" for addresses in the 224.0.0.x range are not appearing in the Multicast IGMP Snooping Table, and are filtered by the switch (with "Block Unknown Multicast Address" option).
This is a big issue since Bonjour/mDNS, Link-local Multicast Name Resolution LLMNR and Precision Time Protocol PTP protocols use this range, and cannot work with IGMP snooping + MCast filtering ON.
I think the problem is the same on GS724Tv3, and maybe to other switches, as I saw in the forum many thread relative to Bonjour/mDNS problems.
As this is a L2 switch and there is no one-to-one relation between IP and Ethernet Mcast address, there is a way to fool the switch, by sending a IGMP Join with an address in the 225.0.0.x range (ie 225.0.0.251 for mDNS) on all mDNS-aware Ethernet ports, but this is not acceptable and surely not portable to all situations.
