- I am planing to run a DAC cable from my router to my closet Where The switch will be at. It’s about 25ft. Will the AXC7620-10000s Cable be compatible with the Nighthawh X10 router and GC728x switch?
Is it the AXM761-10000s or AXM763-10000sP-Dog This should work nicely between the Nighthawk X10 WiFi router SFP+ port, and the Insight Managed Smart Cloud switch GS728X SFP+ port. You can select the 10-meter version for 25 feet distance, or 15-meter, or 20-meter as you see fit.
Such DAC cable isn't made of real SFP+ fiber transceivers: instead, their connectors are SFP+ compatible and recognized as DAC by the endpoints.
