M4300-48X - TRAPMGR[trapTask] Link down
Hello everyone,
Our switch log is full of this kind of errors. We made the lastest firmware update but still get those messages. Anyone have any idea what could be the cause?
TRAPMGR[trapTask]: traputil.c(753) 19815 %% Link Up: 1/0/14
TRAPMGR[lldpTask]: traputil.c(795) 19816 %% LLDP-MED Topology Change Detected: ChassisIDSubtype: 4, ChassisID: E8:EA:6A:03:47:AF, DeviceClass: 1, Interface: 1/0/14
Even if you insist, these are in no way errors. These are trap log entries, the state changes are caused by devices connected or disconnected. Similar the LLDP-MED topology state state indication. If you are not interested in these, you are free to ignore.

Errors? What errors?
Link up trap indications. LLDP-MED topology change information caused by network link changes.
