M4300-48X overheating
Hello Netgear Community,
It is my first post here, nice to meet you all!
Last friday, I faced an issue with my M4300-48X (XSM4348CS-100NES) switch. The switch has suddendly rebooted for no reason.
After investigation, it appears that the switch has reached a temperature of 94°C, which is very high, but I can't figure out why that happened. Right now, the switch is working at a stable temperature of 68-69°C, which is still high for me.
I have controlled the fans with a "show environnment", each of the 4 fans is operationnal and runs at around 4000 RPM. The temperature inside the server room is about 22-23°C, so it is ok.
Does anyone has experienced a similar type of issue? Does someone know what could have cause this to happen?
I searched for logs, but I don't see anyhing wrong except this:
TRAPMGR[boxs Req]: traputil.c(795) 625 %% Temperature state change alarm: Unit Number: 1 Current: Normal, Previous: None
What other type of logs should I look for to understand this behaviour?
Thank you for your help, have a great day.
Best regards,
Luca.
