M4300-52-PoE VLAN traffic loss

M4300-52-PoE Stack of three running Firmware 12.0.17.7 boot version B1.0.0.16

I have an access controls system that I monitor the edge Access Control Units (ACUs). I have noticed that they all go offline at the same time for a couple of seconds, 20 at the most. I thought it was a result of an update to the software and firmware (that's when I noticed it) but it turns out it's a network issue.

The ACUs are on VLAN 50 - 192.168.50.0/24 and the server that talks to them is on VLAN1 - 192.168.1.0/24

I started multiple continuous pings.

From the VM host (192.168.1.212 - VLAN1) I am pinging the switch stack - 192.168.1.1 - VLAN1

From the VM host (192.168.1.212 - VLAN1) I am pinging Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 - Goes across VLAN 45 to get to router

From the VM host (192.168.1.212 - VLAN1) I am pinging My Workstation - 192.168.1.44 - VLAN1

From the VM host (192.168.1.212 - VLAN1) I am pinging Wireless Communicator for AC - 192.168.50.114 - VLAN50

When I saw the ACUs go offline on 8/30/23 at 3:00:16 PM I checked the Pings to see what was going on:

The ping to my workstation - 192.168.1.44 looked fine Not even an increase in the time or TTL - VLAN1

The ping to the switch stack - 192.168.1.1 I see an increase in the time from <1ms to 2-8ms and the TTL goes to 255 this goes on for 8 seconds - VLAN1

The ping to google - 8.8.8.8 the request times out from 3:00:14 - 3:00:19 PM before that it's fine and after. - VLAN 45

The ping to the Wireless Communicator - 192.168.50.114 the request times out from 3:00:14 - 3:00:19 PM before that it's fine and after. - VLAN50

It happens again on 9/5/2023 2:07:43 AM same results on the pings.

I'm not sure what is causing this.

What do you guys think?

How can I troubleshoot this better?

Is there something in the switch logs I can look at?

Anyone seen anything like this?
