M4300-52G POE+

Hi, 

 

I would like to share my recent experience with Netgear. 

 

I've spent about 5 months assisting the Netgear L3 network engineering team to connect remotely and fix the issue on my M4300-52G-POE+ switch. Unfortunately, the switch can not be fixed due to a product defect. The L3 team processed a free replacement. However, after sending me the wrong replacement for the 2nd time, the Netgear replacement team confirmed the M4300-52G-POE+ is discontinued (shocking!). They are now processing a refund (shocking!). Did not confirm the percentage of refund (shocking!). 

 

I am disappointed and frustrated with how the Netgear support team managed to misinform me regarding the replacement process. They should have processed the refund procedure at the initial stage but instead, they tried to resolve the situation by sending me incorrect (M4300-52G "Not POE") switches both times. 

 

Will probably never purchase business-level managed switches from Netgear again. 

 

I have another switch (same model) having the same issue, and will have to go through the same process. Please wish me luck.
