M4300 Update

Can we go from 12.0.6.7 to 12.0.17.6, or is there a jump in between there?

Boot Ver is B1.0.0.11 and CPLD 0x5

Also are the CPLD and Boot Versions updated with the same package, or are those updated individually?

I have 2 x M4300 and they are not stacked or lagged and are being used for iSCSI. They have been in a test and dev environment and I am going to put them into production, so want to get them updated. Thanks!

Usually yes, I haven't encountered release notes for the M4300 specifically needing a minimal version so far.

So far only the M4300-96X has has received a publicly available CPLD update. I've never had the need to update the CPLD, but based on M4300 bought on different time, the CPLD was almost (not 100% sure) identical last time I checked.

The bootcode is included with the firmware, that I am certain. It rarely gets updated but you can update it using the "update bootcode" command. However the command runs unconditionnaly = doesn't check if the version installed is already the latest.

Yes, for iSCSI I wouldn't stack them, this way you have 2 independent fault domains and you can update 1 switch at a time so long as you have a working multipathing setup. Usually it's also good to keep LACP out of iSCSI and rely ... (again) on just Multipathing.
