Mapping STP
Hello,
I have recently been tasked with evaluating the network and turning on STP. I have done some limited research on our network and determined that STP is already turned on. I am trying to figure out the best way to map the current STP set up so I can visualize the configuration for documentation purposes, problem is the previous network admin documented nothing. My question is what would be the best practice solution for mapping out the current STP configuration? this is an enterprise enviornment with, what I can tell so far, has over 60 switches from the M4300 to GS110TP's.

This is a challenging task. I suggest to start by posting an image of your current network setup and make it detailed as possible. Then, try using the NMS300.
The NMS300 can provide information such as Common STP Port Status. As reference, kindly read page 311 of the NMS300 user manual here. Both the GS110TP and M4300 switch models (M4300-8X8F, M4300-12X12F, M4300-24X24F, M4300-28G, M4300-52G, M4300-28G-POE+, and M4300-52G-POE+) are supported on the NMS300.
