Reads like a missing basic VLAN 1-2-3.
A different VLAN - different from the standard attached, direct connected network, must be configured accordingly.
This requires the router be VLAN aware, the the router, the switch as well as the AP configured for the additional VLAN, eg. able to carry the VLAN 6 network, handle the DHCP and dedicated IP subnet for the intended guest VLAN 6, ... Looking from the AP side, the AP must be connected to a port on he switch configured for the basic (probably untagged) flat IP subnet and untagged for the default VLAN, plus the VLAN 6 being available tagged on that very same port.
Similar, the router needs to be connected to a switch port, either untagged for the basic network and VLAN, and tagged for the guest VLAN 6, or tagged for the basic VLAN (1?) and the VLAN 6 forming a trunk port. Same for the port where the router is configured.
