I just want to follow-up on this.  Hope the forum link I shared helped you as a guide.  

 

In addition, kindly read page 701 of the M6100 user manual here on how to configure RSPAN VLAN and page 445 of the M6100 software administration manual here about Remote SPAN.

Thank you for the advice, but I don't have a suitable switch to use to test it at the moment. I'll keep it in mind as a work around though so thank you very much.
