Netgear switch GS108PEv3 and Ubiquiti NanoBeam NBE-5AC-19

Hello,

I have a problem with my installation of an switch (GS108PEv3) and my accesspoint. (Ubiquiti NanoBeam NBE-5AC-19)

The accesspoint has an POE-injector as standard but I want to use the POE-port to feed my device.

If I'll remove remove the injector and insert the ethernet cable into the POE-port on the switch, the accesspoint want start.

What can be the problem?

Kind regards

    Hi magdom,

    Welcome to the community!

Let us isolate the problem.  Kindly answer the questions below:

    a. Have you tried to connect the Ubiquiti NanoBeam NBE-5AC-19 with its PoE injector removed to other PoE switches other than the GS108PEv3?  If yes, does the same problem occur?

    b. Have you tried to connect other PoE access points (or other PoE devices like VoIP phones) to the GS108PEv3?  If yes, does the PoE device turns on while connected to the GS108PEv3?

    Regards,
