Nothing you can reach using a basic VLAN configuration.
Currently my major problem is that we’re not getting our expected results.
What switch model (and firmware version) do you have in mind, or trying?
We are using the M4250 Series and I'm trying to test and see if we can restrict one pc from reaching the printer on a separate VLAN but allowing the other test pc to be able to get to that printer, and we want to accomplish these results with IP or MAC ACL's
That's a Managed Switch. Have moved this thread to the more appropriate community section.
He smarter approach (instead of fiddling with ACLs only) would be configuring some Private VLAN -> What are private VLANs and how do they work with my managed switch?
This is what i have so far we are blocking from one of our laptops to go to the printer but the others are permitted and for directing we have it in inbound and in port 4
