Prosafe M7300-24XF (XSM7224S) | back to factory default
Hello Team Netgear,
Good Day. How can i back to factory default settings of Prosafe M7300-24XF (XSM7224S) switch using the reset button? Since the former owner of this switch already forgot the username and password.

You can't revert any NETGEAR Managed Switch back to Factory Default using the physical reset button on the back or on the front. We would consider this as a potential security vulnerability.
Please refer to this article in your case, it will most likely apply just fine. Please just modify Baud rate: instead of 115200, please use 9600 bps instead for M7300 series (M7300-24XF XSM7224S).
