remote management of smart switches
I would like to know if these switches can be controlled remotely. I would like to deploy them in remote oficesf and avoid travel to change setGS`08Ttings
It sounds like a very bad idea to me. Switches are by definition not "Internet-proof". It could be very dangerous to expose the GUI of your LAN switch and therefore to expose your LAN to the Internet this way. Whoever succeed to gain access to your switch may have access to your entire network. I would strongly advise you to use a VPN, not port forwarding (even with high port number and strong password).
