So just to be clear....
The 10G ports can be used for a connection of the switch fabric at 10Gbe to a network device (server, NAS, whatever) OR for stacking depending on how the stack option is set on those ports?
I would like to connect a 10G NAS to the switch though one 10Gbe and uplink to a second switch in stack mode to a second switch.
One set to "ethernet" and the other set to "stack"?

Yes, same as my suggestion to seader025 you'll just have to change the mode of the port. It can be in ethernet mode (default) or stack mode. You may also want to check out this FAQ, it contains a lot of information about stacking and other important features.
