Sostituzione VLAN1 con altra VLAN di management

Before changing the management VLAN from 1 to 11, think about what the switch defaults are. Out of the box, all ports are access ports for VLAN 1, with PVID 1. If you have to use the VLAN 11, ensure you have an access path to the switch for that VLAN 11. This could be a port configured as trunk, where the VLAN 11 is [T]agged e.g. for connecting into an existing infrastructure. If you are on a learning curve (we all are, we had been young, too), also configure one or a small set of ports as an access port for VLAN 11, with PVID 11 - and no other VLAN memberships. At this point, you can think about change the management VLAN from 1 to 11. Start in a lab environment first!

 

Prima di modificare la VLAN di gestione da 1 a 11, pensare a quali sono le impostazioni predefinite dello switch. Di default, tutte le porte sono porte di accesso per VLAN 1, con PVID 1. Se devi utilizzare la VLAN 11, assicurati di avere un percorso di accesso allo switch per quella VLAN 11.
