User Interface not displaying ports

I am trying to add vlan members to a port on my GS724TS but the UI is not displaying the ports. When I click on the untagged/tagged port members, I see this:

vlan membership

I cannot see how I can add ports to a vlan from this UI. There does no seem to be a telnet service available to configure the switch either.

Below is my system configCurrent firmware...etc

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Dermot

  • Hello Dermot,

The pop-up is just informational. A slightly newer switch with the same Netgear Web UI does work fine in a current Chrome (Version 68.0.3440.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) here). Well possible these legacy devices might require a browser in a legacy mode.

If the amber areas (with the Unit selection at least) don't show up, double check there is no Internet "security" software blocking some JavaScript on your system. On Windows, worth a try would to bring up Internet Explorer (IE11) - if the "modern" more universal standards don't show the amber areas, enable the IE compatibility mode and reload the Web UI page.

    Regards,

    -Kurt

      Thanks Kurt,

Using IE11 in compat mode shows me the ports. I had updated the firmware earlier in case that affected the UI but I guess not.
