VLAN communication between switches

I have a GSM7352 and a GS752 connected with a single LAG. I only have VLAN 5 configured on both switches. The ports on both switch are set for untagged and the LAGs are set for tagged. A computer is connected to the GSM and the GS and they are unable to ping each other.

I have tried with and without ingress filter.

GSM7352
interface 1/0/2
set igmp
set igmp fast-leave
vlan pvid 5
vlan ingressfilter
vlan participation auto 1
vlan participation include 5
exit

GS752
interface gigabitethernet3
lacp timeout short
lacp port-priority 128
switchport general allowed vlan add 5 untagged
switchport general pvid 5

  • yes they are 192.168.0.24/24 and 192.168.0.188/24.

I start a continuous ping and move the cable from one switch to the other (both connected to the same switch) I get a response. After returning the cable to the other switch I get destination host unreachable.

I noticed in the logs of the GSM I get a "Link Down: vlan 5" and no reference to it coming up and on the GS there is no reference to vlan 5 in the logs.
