WDS PXE with M6100 core and S3300 edge
Recently installed an all Netgear network and runs great. Apart from not being able to use WDS to deploy Windows images. WDS server, DHCP server and clients are all in the same VLAN so not trying to get it to work over multiple VLANS. I'm sure it's something really simple that I've missed.
Also, Wake On Lan seems to have stopped working too.
I'm back on customer site next week to look into this so any help would be appreciated

Hi trentsidered,
What is the current firmware version of both M6100 core and S3300 edge switches? Kindly post a screenshot of your detailed network setup.
I look forward to your response. Welcome to the community! :smileyhappy:

Sorry for the slow reply
I can't get remote access at the mo and not on site until tomorrow PM
In a nutshell we have a quite simple set up: VLAN1 - management, VLAN10 - anything with a cable in!, VLAN20 - Wireless, VLAN30 - BYOD
So WDS server, DHCP server, and PXE clients are all on the same VLAN (10) so not sure why this isn't working. One thing I've come across while googling is possibly STP causing an issue for PXE clients as it takes too long for the port to become active for the DHCP server to issue an IP. Will take a look at that tomorrow
Will check firmwares tomorrow and update you
thanks for replying
