Cannot access web ui, GS308EPP

I have 3 new Netgear GS308EPP.  I can ping all 3.

But, I can only access the web ui on 2 of the switches.

This is what I get, and I tried different browsers also.

  • Also, is it possible to SSH or telnet into a Netgear managed switch?  I use Aruba sometimes, and I can use the web ui and SSH.

How do I do that with Netgear switch?

I was able to login to the web ui when I configured the switch, that's how I assigned it a static IP.  But now I cant access web ui even if I can ping it, and I'm on the same subnet.

The smarter way than assign static IPs would be to let the DHCP server assign fixed (reserved) IP addresses to each switch MAC address - much less risk involved having multiple devices on the same LAN with the same IP. Keep in mind this requires a reliable network link at startup, a reliable connection and a cold restart. Yes, hit me these days finding a device Web UI unreachable - looking twice proofed I had the same IP assigned on the subnet twice.

Also keep in mind these switches don't have fixed management VLANs so DHCP can be a hit and miss and any DHCP on the same broadcast domain can succeed.

Last, these are basic switches with Web config options, by far not fully fledged managed switches.
